It has been said that the Catholic man should pattern his life after that of St. Joseph. Joseph, husband of Mary and foster father of Jesus, loved Jesus, and his main concern was for the safety of this Holy Child entrusted to him.
In Matthew 1:18, it was written that Joseph was "a righteous man.” As Knights, we must make every effort to be righteous men in all walks of life.
The Oratory Council recognizes that being good and dedicated husbands, fathers, and protectors of those they love is essential to building strong Christian families and communities. In that regard, we include and work alongside family members in our charitable community efforts, and relax with them at our monthly socials. At a typical social event, you are likely to meet our Knights, their wives, children, grandchildren, or visiting family members. This interactive social and play time gives everyone time to “enjoy,” and to reap the spiritual benefits of all our hard work.
